Inspired By Art During The Pandemic

A group of 12 women held their first art exhibition after finding inspiration during the pandemic.

The class, led by teacher Beverley Fitzwilliam Harries, started just before the global pandemic, however physical classes were unable to continue until the first lockdown was over.

Many of the artists had little prior experience and drew from their own inspiration in keeping themselves occupied during the lockdown.

Veterinarian Rebecca Ferrier says she was drawn to painting nature scenes and animals, but stepped outside of her comfort zone.

As for Melanie Pinard Grainger who only did art at high school, it was a renewing experience during the lockdown.
