Jereem Richards Takes Bronze In World Athletics 400M Final

Jereem Richards has captured the Bronze medal in the Men’s 400 metre final at the World Athletics Indoor Championships, hosted in Poland.

Richards running in the second leg of the 400 meter final recorded a Season Best time of 45.39 which was good for third place behind Khaleb Mc Crae of the United States and Canada’s Christopher Morales-Williams who won in a Championship record time of 44.76.

Richard was clearly pleased with his showing and hitting a season best in Poland.

In other news from the Championship, sprinter Leah Bertrand advanced to the semi final of the Women’s 60 meters but finish down the field in Heat 2 with a time of 7.25.

The final was eventually won by Zaynab Dosso of Italy in a time of 7 seconds flat.
