Jereem Richards Triumphs In 300m At New Balance Indoor Grand Prix

T&T’s Jereem Richards has given thanks to God after winning the men’s 300 metres at the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix in Boston, Massachusetts on Saturday.

Richards, the World 400m silver medallist, came in at 32.14 seconds while reigning Olympic 100m champion Noah Lyles followed closely behind at 32.15 to take second place. Vernon Norwood came in third in 32.38 seconds.

After winning the race, Richards expressed his gratitude and credited his faith for his performance. He also said training alongside the Olympic 100m champion motivated him.

On his Facebook page, he wrote: “Glory to God, Thank you for your Grace and Mercy. 32.14, Second Fastest time ever. Season 26 | Gods Favor.”
