Stabilising the agriculture market, reducing the food import bill, and exploring alternative uses for their produce are some of the key proposals for farmers and the agriculture sector by the Minister of Agriculture, Land and Fisheries, Ravi Ratiram.
The Minister believes this will ultimately increase agriculture’s contribution to the national GDP.
