Trinidad and Tobago Olympian Keshorn Walcott has qualified for the men’s javelin final at the 2025 World Athletics Championships in Tokyo.
Walcott earned a spot in the final after placing fifth in Group A and ninth overall in the qualifying round, with a throw of 83.93 metres on Wednesday morning.
The final is scheduled for 6:23am on Thursday, where Walcott will compete for a podium finish alongside fellow Trinidad and Tobago athlete, Jereem Richards, who will be contesting the men’s 400-metre final later that day.
