Trinidad and Tobago Olympian Keshorn Walcott just missed out on a podium finish, placing fourth in the men’s javelin final at the Zurich Diamond League final on Thursday.
Walcott, with a best throw of 83.02, finished in fourth spot behind Poland’s Dawid Wegner, in third; Grenada’s Anderson Peters, in second; and the winner, Rumesh Pathirage of Sri Lanka.
The result unfortunately sees Walcott now go six major events without securing a podium finish.
