Former President of the National Gas Company (NGC), Mark Loquan, has come in for significant praise.
Mr. Loquan, who received the Order of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago during the Republic Day Awards on Tuesday, was lauded for his work in the energy sector and his involvement in the restructuring of Atlantic LNG.
Energy Minister Stuart Young said Mr. Loquan’s involvement was critical to Trinidad and Tobago’s future.
Outgoing Chief Executive Officer of Atlantic LNG, Ronald Adams, congratulated Mr. Loquan on his latest achievement, the Order of the Republic of T&T.
Mr. Loquan who in January announced his intention to step down as NGC President when his contract was up on August 31st, revealed via media reports earlier this month that he was diagnosed with brain cancer.
