Man Arrested, Narcotics Seized And Vehicle Recovered

A man has been arrested, a quantity of narcotics seized, and a vehicle recovered during police exercises conducted over the weekend.

During an anti-crime exercise conducted between 8:00 p.m. and 1:00 a.m. on Friday, May 9th, 2025, officers stopped a motor vehicle and conducted a search. A 33-year-old man from Lacano Road, Santa Cruz, was arrested for possession of cannabis for the purpose of trafficking.

In a separate incident in the Southern Division on May 11th, 2025, officers from the Southern Division Task Force, while on a roving exercise, intercepted a brown Nissan B14. The driver exited the vehicle and fled the scene, evading capture. Subsequent checks revealed the vehicle had invalid license plates and a tampered chassis.
