Homicide investigators believe revenge may be the motive behind the killing of a Penal man overnight.
Police responded to reports of gunfire at the Hangover Restaurant and Bar on Penal Rock Road, where the body of 38-year-old Khedon Belmontes was discovered in the establishment’s car park with gunshot wounds.
Witnesses reported hearing loud explosions just before midnight.
Police say Mr. Belmontes was last seen alone on the compound, eating a box of KFC.
Several spent shell casings and live rounds were recovered at the scene.
