Police are continuing investigations into the murder of a mechanical engineer at Carlsen Field on Tuesday evening.
Fifty-three-year-old Raidal Persad, of Riverview Park, Montrose, Chaguanas, was found slumped over the centre console of his vehicle, with multiple gunshot wounds to his body.
Police discovered that multiple bullets had pierced the driver’s-side door.
At the scene of the crime, investigators recovered eight spent shells, along with Mr. Persad’s belongings.
Mr. Persad was employed as a mechanical engineer at Methanex Ltd. According to police, the motive for the killing remains unknown.
