Minister Morris Brings Health Services To Remote Communities

The Government is pushing forward with its thrust to ensure rural communities are not left behind.

This as MP for Mayaro and Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister Nicholas Morris hosted a community Health fair for the residents of Biche.

Biche/Charuma councillor Charleen Moona praised MP Morris, the Eastern Regional health Authority, SEWA TT, and the other stakeholders for bringing the heath services to the remote community.

“He is one of the most gorunded MP’s we’ve ever had and as we mentioned we r tryign to bring more services to rural communities. Biche is very far away so getting these here today I know biche is thankful.”

Minister Morris noted this is the third instalment of this fair in his constituency.

He suggested people in other remote areas can expect similar services coming to their communities.

“This morning is just to continue work in Mayaro to reach out and bring govt services to communities. This is the third version, we did first in Rio Claro East Sec in November. We then went to BPTT resource Centre in December, went back to Mayaro an month ago in the civic centre for a bigger outreach with the ministry of culture and”

“Today we are her in the Biche with Councillor Moona to ensure ppl could benefit from services for their health, wellness and wellbeing. And this is part of the govt drive and thrust to ensure that services reach rural communities and are improved and efficiency continues to be uplifted throughout our public services.”
