Minister of Agriculture Ravi Ratiram has confirmed that a Board will soon be officially appointed to the Agricultural Development Bank (ADB).
He said while the members have been selected, they are yet to receive their instruments of appointment.
The Minister noted that due process must be followed before the Board is formally appointed.
“ADB will soon be getting their Board. That has gone at the Cabinet and has been dealt with so it is a matter of having the instrument made available for the Directors to be in place. The long and short of it is that the Board has already been appointed.”
