Minister in the Ministry of Public Utilities, Clyde Elder, met with Mr. Anton Edmunds, General Manager for the Caribbean Country Department (CCB) of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), to discuss ongoing collaboration and future opportunities.
Also in attendance were Mr. Julian Belgrave, Country Representative, Dr. Fazal Ali, Digital Transformation Consultant and Mrs. Neela Ram-Atwaroo, Permanent Secretary Ministry of Public Utilities (MPU).
During the meeting, Minister Elder expressed gratitude to IDB for their continued support; reiterating that the MPU has adopted a hands-on approach to addressing key issues, ensuring that the loan programmes accessed are not only about financial assistance but also about bringing hope and relief to people throughout Trinidad and Tobago. Recognising the importance of sustainable development, MPU emphasized that the initiatives are designed to uplift communities and create lasting impact.
