As part of its ongoing commitment to modernizing and improving service delivery at the Licensing Division, the Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation, in collaboration with the National Payment and Innovation Company of Trinidad and Tobago, is pleased to announce the launch of the Online Certified Copy Application System. This new platform is officially available from September 2, 2025.
The Online Certified Copy Application System is a secure, user-friendly digital platform that allows customers the option to apply and pay for Certified Copies electronically, without the need to visit a Licensing Office. Customers can choose to have their Certified Copies delivered directly to their homes or offices via TTPOST Courier Service or collected at ttconnect Centres nationwide.
This new digital platform offers:
- Convenience and Accessibility – Apply anytime, anywhere without visiting a Licensing Office.
- Efficient and User-Friendly Experience – A simple and streamlined process for users.
- Secure Payment Options – Safe transactions through a robust online payment portal.
- End-to-End Tracking – An integrated e-fulfillment system that allows for efficient monitoring, processing, and scheduling delivery.
To obtain a Certified Copy, users are required to complete the following steps:
- Visit https://onlinecertifiedcopy.mowt.gov.tt/
- Enter their vehicle registration number (e.g. PXX1234)
- Review and complete the online application
- Select a delivery method – Home/office delivery or ttconnect pickup
- Make payment online via Credit Card
- Submit the application and receive a confirmation email
- Await processing and receive the Certified Copy by the chosen delivery method
The launch of this new System underscores Government’s commitment to making public services more efficient, accessible, and citizen-centered through digital innovation. Guided by a wider digital transformation agenda, the Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation will continue to advance initiatives that enhance efficiency, improve the customer experience, and reshape how citizens access critical Government services, as it works towards building a modern, fully-digital economy.
