The Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation, through its Traffic Management Unit, has commenced the installation of new road safety signage across key locations nationwide. This initiative forms part of the Ministry’s continued efforts to place road safety as a national priority.
The installation of road safety signage plays a vital role in guiding motorists, pedestrians, cyclists, motorcyclists and public transport operators. By providing clear directives and regulatory instructions, signage helps reduce the risk of collisions, improve traffic flow, and foster a greater sense of discipline on the nation’s roadways.
Road safety signs will be installed in the following areas:
- Diego Martin Highway – Entry Northbound & Entry Southbound
- Beetham Highway – Near NP Overpass (Eastbound)
- Grand Bazaar Ramp to South – Eastbound
