Molino And Jones Confirm Police Detention After Drug Raid In Cunupia

Trinidad and Tobago footballers Kevin Molino and Joevin Jones have confirmed via social media that they were among six people detained in a police anti-drug operation in Central Trinidad.

The pair was reportedly held by the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service during a house raid in Cunupia, where they allegedly found the group and a total of 250 grammes of marijuana.

Molino and Jones also clarified that they were released without being charged by the TTPS and after fully cooperating with the authorities during the investigation.

They asked that the public respect their privacy, and they thanked those who supported them during the ordeal.

Police say one person has been charged in connection with the raid for possession of marijuana.
