Tragedy hit an Erin family on Thursday as a mother died in a Road Traffic Accident in the midst of birthday celebrations.
According to police, 52 year old Sacha Richardson was a front seat passenger of a vehicle being driven by her husband Curtis Richardson. Two other people, 21 year old Sachell Richardson and 50 year old Margaret Ramjitsingh, the daughter and sister of the victim, were rear seat passengers in the vehicle.
Police reports indicate while travelling along the Buenos Ayres Main Road at around 6:30pm, the driver picked up a skid due to the wet road conditions and the vehicle spun out of control and crashed into another vehicle. The three passengers were thrown out of the vehicle upon impact. Sacha Richardson died at the scene. Her daughter and sister were taken to hospital. They are said to be in a stable condition.
TTT News understands the family was taking Ms. Ramjitsingh home after celebrating Mrs Richardson’s birthday.
