Member of Parliament for St Augustine Khadijah Ameen is urging motorists to exercise caution as road work is currently ongoing in St Augustine South.
The MP was on the ground in her constituency on Thursday morning during road patching works.
She said she is awaiting confirmation of road repairs in other areas of the constituency.
“We are waiting to get confirmation that we’d get patching in some other areas in St Augustine, around by UWI, in the Curepe area and so on, so I mean people have been sending requests, so we try to do them little at a time as we get material, so please if you are here, just proceed with caution. We have workers, they are trying to do it out before the school reopens. This is a very busy thoroughfare, so, drivers, just try and move with a little caution and consideration for the workers.”
