Trinidad and Tobago national male cyclist Nicholas Paul won this country’s first Gold medal in the 2025 Bolivarian Games in Lima, Peru.
Paul defeated Colombia’s Kevin Quintero in the final to hand T&T their second cycling medal, following Makaira Wallace’s Bronze, in the Women’s Keirin Final.
He said: “It’s a pleasure always to represent Trinidad and Tobago and to come away with the Gold medal at the first representation for Trinidad and Tobago in the Bolivarian Games> It’s a great feeling. It’s an honour for me to represent my country, always.”
