Former West Indies cricketer and Trinbago Knight Riders captain Nicholas Pooran has received his instrument of appointment as a Sports Ambassador for Trinidad and Tobago from the Minister of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs, Sean Sobers.
Pooran was presented with the instrument at the Ministry’s office in recognition of his outstanding contributions to cricket and his unwavering commitment to representing T&T on the global stage.
The cricketer was officially appointed to the role in September of last year, along with teammate Kieron Pollard, following their title-winning season in the 2025 Republic Bank CPL, with TKR.
