Nikoli Blackman Makes History With T&T’s First Swimming Medal At Junior Pan Am Games

Trinidad and Tobago swimmer Nikoli Blackman made history on Day 5 of the 2025 Junior Pan American Games in Paraguay, winning the country’s first individual swimming medal.

Blackman finished third, winning bronze in the 50-metre freestyle final, tying with Brazil’s Pedro Sansone, with a time of 22.32 seconds.

Blackman finished behind second-place Lamar Taylor of The Bahamas and first-place Guilherme Caribe of Brazil.

T&T’s Zarek Wilson, who also competed in the final, finished eighth in a time of 23.07 seconds.
