The North West Regional Health Authority (NWRHA) has responded to a video circulating on social media that alleges a shortage of medical supplies at a general hospital. It says its hospitals have the supplies they need.
In a media release issued today, the Authority said it is aware of the video and wants to assure the public that its facilities “are stocked with the necessary medical supplies to support the delivery of healthcare services.” It added that it takes such matters seriously and remains committed to maintaining quality standards and making sure patients get the care they need.
The NWRHA invited anyone with concerns about its facilities or services to contact the Authority directly. Members of the public can reach its Quality Helpline Service by email at clientfeedback@gov.tt or by phone at 493-2838.
The Authority also encouraged the public to seek clarification “through official channels,” so that concerns can be “addressed accurately and promptly.”
