Pan Trinbago President Commits To Cohesive Junior Panorama 2027

President of Pan Trinbago Beverley Ramsey-Moore is committed to meeting with Ministry of Education officials to ensure a more cohesive Junior Panorama 2027.

Speaking to journalists at the finals of the National Junior Panorama Finals at the Queen’s Park Savannah on Sunday, Ms. Ramsey-Moore said that following the Carnival season, Pan Trinbago will reach out to Minister of Education Dr. Michael Dowlath and his team.

This, as both Pan Trinbago and the Ministry of Education hosted separate Junior Panorama events.

“Let me just indicate that nothing is wrong in changing venues because we have been taking Panorama to Tobago, we have been going to South Central, we have been going to the Eastern region, so yes, going to the various districts is excellent, but I think the time was too short for the conversation to be had. And so in 2027, I look forward to us working together as a partner with the Ministry of Education and Pan Trinbago as a partner to take a beautiful youth finals to South.”

On the issue of prizes, the Pan Trinbago President shared good news with the pan fraternity.

“The good news is that there is no change in the prize structure, so all the bands will receive the same prize structure as before. So that is the good news, and I want to thank the Minister and her Ministry and also NCC for not interfering with the prizes. And as usual, the Cabinet has agreed to continue with the grant for unsponsored bands, and recently, we began the discussion for the players’ remittances. So I guess everything will be intact.”
