Panorama 2026: Medium Bands Final To Be Held At Queen’s Park Savannah On February 9th

Pan Trinbago President Beverley Ramsey-Moore has announced that the Panorama Medium Conventional Band Finals will be held in Trinidad this year due to transport arrangements between Trinidad and Tobago.

For the past several years, Tobago has hosted the Medium Bands Finals as part of Pan Trinbago’s effort to rotate major pan events across the country.

At Tuesday’s draw for playing positions in the Medium Conventional Band Finals, Mrs. Ramsey-Moore stressed that the move to change venue is temporary and the decision was driven largely by disruptions to sea transport, following damage to one of the vessels on the sea bridge.

“We were up and ready, set to go to Tobago on Sunday. But the situation has developed, and despite challenges may come in our way, as pan people are resilient, and we have found a way to treat this only for this year.”

With time running out, she said they opted to relocate the event to the Queen’s Park Savannah on Monday, February 9th, as a free public concert, branded “Legacy Monday”, ensuring bands could still compete as scheduled.

“But because the time is so short, and because of what has occurred, re: the vessel that was damaged in Tobago, and I want to commend the minister, Jearlean John, for ensuring that that vessel went to Tobago to bring the fans down. But because of the accident, I should say, that vessel is sort of out of service at this time.”

The Pan Trinbago President said the Medium Bands Finals expected to return to Tobago in 2027.
