Piarco International Airport has been declared the best airport in the region as listed on the Skytrax World Airport Awards for 2020 to 2021. An announcement was proudly made by the Airports Authority of Trinidad and Tobago.
In relation to the Global Region – Central America and the Caribbean, the Piarco International Airport has also been ranked by Skytrax as the Third Best Airport, edged out only by Panama’s Tocumen International Airport and Costa Rica’s San Jose International Airport, respectively.
Another significant achievement is the Piarco International Airport’s top place as the Caribbean’s cleanest airport, second to Panama’s Tocumen in the Central America & Caribbean category.
