PM Hands Over 14 Refurbished Vehicles To Boost Police Patrols

More Wheels. Faster Response. Safer Communities.

Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar SC today handed over 14 additional refurbished vehicles to the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service, bringing the total number of restored vehicles returned to active duty to 40 within weeks.

This latest handover moves the Government closer to its commitment to deliver 50 refurbished vehicles by year’s end, boosting police mobility, expanding patrol coverage, and improving emergency response times.

The Prime Minister emphasised that properly equipping officers is essential to fighting crime and keeping communities safe, noting that the vehicles are practical tools with real impact for frontline policing.

She said this is another clear example of promises made, promises kept, all in service of the people of Trinidad and Tobago.
