Police Call On Robbery Suspects To Surrender

“We are coming after you.” The stern warning from the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service to the suspects involved in the robbery of Member of Parliament for St. Joseph, Terrence Deyalsingh.

The TTPS confirmed that MP Deyalsingh, who’s also the Minister of Health, was robbed of a gold bracelet by two men, one armed with a gun, on Tuesday.

MP Deyalsingh was sitting on a bench outside a bar along King Street, St. Joseph. The assailants escaped in a green coloured vehicle.

Deputy Commissioner of Police, ‘Intelligence and Investigations,’ Suzette Martin, says all criminal acts, particularly those involving firearms and violence, will not be tolerated in any form.

The TTPS says several persons are being interviewed and are assisting police with the investigations.
