Police have launched an investigation following the discovery of a decomposing body at an apartment in Sandy Hill, Lambeau, Tobago.
The deceased has been identified as Ray Dalrymple. His body was found on Monday after a colleague, concerned by his absence for six days, contacted the police.
According to reports, officers responded to the call and visited Mr. Dalrymple’s residence. After receiving no response at the locked door, they forced entry and found his body on a mattress in a partially decomposed state.
The landlord informed police that Mr. Dalrymple was last seen on Friday.
This marks the second tragedy to strike the close-knit Lambeau community in just a few days. On Friday, 16-year-old Ishmael Ollivierre, also of Sandy Hill, was found dead by his grandmother.
