Three people have been fatally shot in Penal.
They are 17-year-old Jordan Cudjoe-Burke of 4B Sunset Drive, Lachoos Road, Penal, 22-year-old Ishmael Matthews of Hibiscus Drive, Smart Avenue, Lachoos Road, Penal, and 21-year-old Roberto Samuel Carlos of Corinth Hills, San Fernando.
The incident took place around 2:46am on Monday.
Reports say an informant was asleep in the upstairs bedroom of a two-storey concrete structure at 4B Sunset Drive, Penal when she was awakened by several loud explosions.
Upon making checks in a bedroom located on the western side of the downstairs apartment, she observed the three deceased lying motionless with blood on the floor, together with several live and spent 9mm shells.
Cudjoe-Burke was said to be the son of Cedric Burke from Sea Lots.
