Officers of the Port of Spain Division, including members of POSTF, POSGIU, and POS CID Area East, conducted a coordinated roving street check exercise between the hours of 6pm and 10pm within the division yesterday, Monday, September 22nd, 2025.
During the exercise:
• Five (5) Electronic Fixed Penalty Notices were issued for various traffic offences.
• A 19-year-old male suspect of Beetham Gardens was arrested in connection with larceny enquiries.
• Officers also recovered a stolen vehicle, a white Toyota Aqua, which had been reported stolen from the One Woodbrook Place area.
The exercise was spearheaded by Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Benjamin, Senior Superintendent Thom, Superintendent Mohammed, Superintendent Baird, and ASP Cadette, with direct supervision and coordination provided by Inspector Jagroop, Sergeant Guerra, and Acting Sergeant Sookhoo.
Investigations are ongoing.
