Nine Commissioners took the Oath of Office before Her Excellency Christine Carla Kangaloo, ORTT, President of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, to be appointed as Commissioners of the Port Authority. The ceremony took place on Thursday August 7th, 2025 at the President’s House.
The nine commissioners are:

Mr. Frank Hernandez, Deputy Chairman
Mr. Dexter Jaggernauth
Mr. Wade Ceballo
Mr. Keron Sooklal
Ms. Nirmala Ramai
Mr. Hamish Maharaj
Mr. Kareem Kanhai
Mr. Dereck Balliram
Her Excellency Christine Carla Kangaloo, ORTT, President of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago congratulated the Commissioners, thanked them for their service and wished them every success.
