Member of Parliament for Chaguanas East, Vandana Mohit and Couva North MP, Jearlean John, joined Chaguanas Mayor, Faaiq Mohammed, in full support of The Price Club Supermarket’s Run for A Cause 5k 2026.
MP Mohit applauded the supermarket for its financial support, as it provided over $75,000 to three major foundations.
Public Relations Officer of The Price Club, Rianna Pancham-Sony, explained that this is its first 5K, and it saw a tremendous turnout, with over two thousand participants.
“Because if it is one business who is always sporting for a cause, supporting its community, and this morning they are supporting the cerebral palsy society of Trinidad and Tobago, The Just Because Foundation, and Diabetes Foundation of Trinidad and Tobago, so Price Club hats of to you but of course without you the people, to support events such as these, it cannot go on so give yourselves a round of applause.”
