A prominent Arima businessman was shot and killed on Monday.
The man, identified as 70-year-old Azad Pooran, was reportedly in the driveway of his Santa Rosa home on Monday night when he was suddenly attacked and fatally shot.
Mr. Pooran, who was the owner of Shock’n Stock Booksellers & Stationers, a longstanding and renowned business in the Arima community, died at the scene.
Police said the circumstances surrounding the shooting incident remain unclear at this time, but they are working to determine a motive behind this killing.
