A retired Commissioner of Prisons is thanked for his tireless efforts and commitment to the advancement of sports inside the prison system as well as the rehabilitation of inmates.
Those Programmes were continued and built on by the outgoing Acting Commissioner of Prisons, Mr. Deopersad Ramoutar.
