Public Urged to Stay Alert Amid Risk of Localised Flooding

The Ministry of Rural Development and Local Government (RDLG) is advising the public to remain alert as river levels continue to pose a risk of localised riverine flooding across various parts of the country.

Line Minister Khadijah Ameen is urging residents, particularly those living near major watercourses, to exercise caution even as some areas begin to see floodwaters subsiding.

The Ministry said it will continue to closely monitor the situation and issue further updates as needed.
