Twenty four year old radio announcer Elijah Babb, also known as “Sugars,” was killed on Sunday morning.
Babb, of Pregnancy Lane, La Puerta Avenue in Diego Martin, was an employee of Red 96.7FM.
Unconfirmed reports indicate that he had a disagreement with another man while playing music at a party and was shot by gunmen who opened fire on his vehicle when he left the event.
According to reports, Babb drove himself to the Port of Spain General Hospital after being shot at Eastern Quarry, Laventille. He succumbed to injuries on his arrival to the hospital.
