Four team members, who sustained injuries during the July 24th fire at the Ramco Industries Limited San Fernando facility, remain hospitalised.
According to a media release from Ramco Industries Limited, the fire occurred at one of the loading bays at their Cross Crossing, San Fernando, facility.
Emergency response protocols were activated, with “all unaffected employees” being promptly and safely evacuated.
Ramco confirmed that the four injured team members are currently receiving medical treatment and reaffirmed their support for the employees and their families.
Ramco also acknowledged the support of the Minister of Energy and Energy Industries, Dr. Roodal Moonilal, and expressed sincere appreciation for the rapid response of the Trinidad and Tobago Fire and Police Services, T&TEC, Ambulance Services, the Defence Force, and the Ramco HSE Team.
Ramco Industries Limited restated their commitment to the safety and well-being of their employees and are cooperating fully with the relevant authorities as investigations continue.
