A 20-year-old woman died in an early-morning accident along the M1 Tasker Road, Princes Town.
Naomi Ramnarine, of Libertville, Rio Claro, was the front-seat passenger in a blue Nissan Frontier driven by her boyfriend. According to police reports, the pickup collided head-on with another car.
Her boyfriend and her boyfriend’s stepmother were rushed to hospital for treatment.
The trio were reportedly on their way to Piarco International Airport to meet a relative.
Ms Ramnarine is the second young woman to lose her life in a road accident in as many days this week.
On September 3rd, 19-year-old Lysanne Julien was killed when the Honda Vezel she was travelling in collided with a PTSC bus along Park Street in Port of Spain. Three other passengers and the driver in that accident are being treated at hospital.
