Sangre Grande businessman Danny Guerra was shot and killed on Friday afternoon.
Reports indicate that Guerra was attacked and fatally shot in the area.
Emergency responders later pronounced him dead at the scene.
Officers from the Sangre Grande Police Station responded and have since launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the killing.
Guerra, the owner of the popular DG Homes, previously made headlines in 2025 after being detained during the State of Emergency as part of investigations into alleged organised crime activities.
