St. Augustine Private Hospital Reopens After Fire

Following a brief closure due to a fire earlier this week, St. Augustine Private Hospital reopened its doors on Saturday.

St. Augustine Private Hospital resumed full operations on Saturday, just days after a minor fire forced a temporary shutdown.

The incident occurred earlier this week, in a non-essential area of the facility.

No injuries were reported, but management suspended services as a precautionary measure.

The Hospital had stated that it would remain closed on Christmas Eve as it aimed to complete comprehensive safety inspections and necessary preparations to resume full service.

It had confirmed earlier this week that its team was working ‘diligently’ to restore full services.

Via a media release on Boxing Day, the Hospital posted this statement on its social media account, confirming the resumption of ‘full operations’ on Saturday, noting that its team looks forward to welcoming back its patients with “warmth, professionalism, and an unwavering commitment to safe, high-quality healthcare.”

St. Augustine Private Hospital, located along the Eastern Main Road, has been delivering 24/7 healthcare since its establishment in 1998, offering full round-the-clock Accident & Emergency Service, Ambulance Service, Medical Laboratory and Radiology & Ultrasound Services.
