New Junior Panorama champions are crowned in Pan Trinbago’s Under-19 and Under-21 categories.
St Francois Valley Stars wowed the judges with their rendition of ‘Too Own Way’ by Aaron ‘Voice’ St Louis, scoring 277 points to capture the National Junior Panorama 2026 Under-19 Category.
Last year’s Junior Panorama champions, BATCE Steel, playing Voice’s ‘Retro,’ shared second place with Sapphonic Steel, playing ‘Jamtown’ by Coutain. They both scored 274 points. Bars of Steel, also playing Coutain’s ‘Jamtown,’ were one point behind with 273 points, taking fourth spot.
In the Under-21 Category, Shell Invaders Youth Steel Orchestra, with their rendition of ‘Band From Space’ by Edwin ‘Crazy’ Ayoung, scored 291 points to take the title.
Closely behind, with 290 points, was BP Renegades Youth Steel Orchestra with Coutain’s ‘Jamtown.’
First Citizens Supernovas Youth Steel Orchestra, also playing ‘Jamtown,’ and T&TEC Tropical Angel Harps Youth Steel Orchestra with Baron’s ‘This Melody Sweet’ both scored 280 points, tying for third spot.
