Two suspects were arrested on Wednesday, after they were caught attempting to thief a vehicle.
According to police, Around 7:15 p.m. , a man parked and secured his Toyota Aqua Hybrid, along Audrey Jeffers Highway, opposite the Hasely Crawford Stadium, and went away.
Officers on patrol saw the two men attempting to enter the vehicle and Upon closer inspection they also noticed that the rear glass was broken and missing. The officers detained a 22-year-old male of Port of Spain and a 38-year-old of San Juan at the scene and they were taken to the St James Police Station.
Around 9:45 p.m, the man returned to his vehicle and was informed by police officers on patrol that his vehicle had been broken into.
