Minister of Finance Davendranath Tancoo has called out Diego Martin North/East MP Colm Imbert for not doing proper research before bringing a matter for debate.
Minister Tancoo was responding to a matter brought for urgent debate by the Diego Martin North/East MP.
Mr Imbert raised the matter on the adjournment, namely the need for the Government to provide clear and unambiguous guidance on the implementation of the Landlord Business Surcharge.
Minister Tancoo wondered if the MP had done any reading before coming to the House.
He said all information about extensions for registration and other important deadlines has been placed in the public domain.
He assured that once further deliberations are held by the Cabinet, the final Bill will be brought to Parliament for debate.
