Minister of Finance, Davendranath Tancoo, says the government is working on a new National Investment Fund bond to introduce on the local stock market.
Minister of Finance, Davendranath Tancoo highlighted the investment tool at Sunday’s United National Congress media briefing.
He also highlighted several measures to address tax collection. Minister Tancoo said the former People’s National Movement administration indicated that there was a tax gap but made no move to address it.
He also highlighted another measure to help close the multi-million-dollar gap in tax collection.
