Matchday Two in Tier 1 of the TT Premier Football League (TTPFL) continued on Saturday with a double-header at the Ato Boldon Stadium in Couva.
The opening game featured the defending champions and the team that finished 11th.
Last season, Defence Force had a near-perfect record, leading them to take the title. Their opponents on Matchday Two in the TTPFL, FC Eagles of Cunupia, by contrast, had an unsuccessful season, finishing 11th on the 12-team table.
