Tobago Day 2025 Concludes With Music, Culture And Drone Extravaganza

The Tobago Day 2025 observance concluded in grand style, highlighted by the island’s first-ever drone show.

Although originally scheduled for Saturday, the event was postponed to Sunday due to inclement weather. Nevertheless, Scarborough still came alive, as creatives illuminated the Scarborough Esplanade with spoken word, live music, and dance, reflecting on Tobago’s people, culture, and achievements.

Later in the evening, attention shifted from the stage to the skies as the much-anticipated drone show began. The display charted the Tobago House of Assembly’s journey, from its first Chairman, A.N.R. Robinson, to its current Chief Secretary, Farley Augustine.

The presentation also paid tribute to the island’s cultural and sporting icons, including Shadow, Lord Nelson, Dwight Yorke, and Akeem Stewart, as well as Tobago’s renowned cuisine.

This aerial showcase was seamlessly blended with live entertainment that complemented the images crafted by the drones, enabling the audience to follow the unfolding story.

By the end of the night, the theme of Tobago Day 2025, “One Tobago, One People, One Destiny”, glowed brilliantly above the capital.
