One man has been charged with the murder of 25-year-old Jamaille Fraser, Tobago’s first homicide of 2026.
Shawnel Thomas of Signal Hill appeared before the Scarborough Magistrates’ Court to answer to the charge. He was remanded into custody, and the matter was adjourned to September 15th for a sufficiency hearing.
Fraser was found dead near his home on Cornal Rock Road, Signal Hill, Tobago, on January 9th, 2026. His body bore gunshot wounds.
