Tobago Police: Zero Tolerance For Crime At October Carnival

All is set to ensure Tobago’s second October Carnival is a safe event.

On Tuesday, the island’s security and emergency officials spoke to the media.

Assistant Commissioner of Police, Collis Hazel, said they have adopted Operation BLAST for next week’s festivities.

ACP Collis Hazel noted there will be regular police patrols taking place to ensure safety. He stressed that no form of criminal activity will be tolerated, and sent a message to those considering law-breaking activities.

He reminded people that the Carnival Prohibition of Glass Bottle Regulations will be in effect and once present within Scarborough during the Carnival period, no one will be allowed to consume liquids in glass bottles.
