Tobago Records Fifth Murder of 2025 – Shopkeeper Shot Dead At Pembroke Store

Tobago has recorded its fifth murder for 2025.

TTT News understands that shortly before 9pm on Sunday, 26-year-old Kylon Malcolm of Pembroke was at his shop with his common-law wife when a masked gunman, dressed in black, entered and opened fire, striking him multiple times about the body.

The gunman also pointed the firearm at Mr. Malcolm’s wife and demanded money before fleeing.

Mr. Malcolm was taken to the Roxborough General Hospital but was later pronounced dead.

This murder comes almost one month after Tobago’s fourth murder, that of 22-year-old Trevorn Walker, who was shot dead while on his way home. Deverick Rogers of Moriah was arrested and charged with his murder.
