With no Carnival activities at the Hasely Crawford Stadium on what is normally a busy weekend in Trinidad and Tobago, track and field will make good use of the facilities. This, as the National Association of Athletics Administrators will host its 5th Track and Field Series of activities for the year on Sunday February 27th.
The event will continue to give the locally-based athletes an opportunity to prepare as they seek to represent Trinidad and Tobago at international competitions later in the year , including the World Track and Field Championships and the Commonwealth Games.
Our Junior athletes will have their chance first as they will be engaged in CARIFTA Trials on March 12th and 13th at the same venue , hoping to earn the right to represent team TTO at the 49th edition of the Games scheduled for Easter weekend in Jamaica.
